Q. How do I know if I'm really a Christian?

A. Christianity is not defined by a specific set of actions or words.  Instead, it is a radical change in the way you live your life. Rather than living for money, “success”, the approval of others, or momentary pleasure, you spend your life joyfully pursuing Jesus and living for Him.  You turn away from your sin (valuing anything—money, reputation, grades, etc.—more than you value God) because you recognize He is the most valuable, awesome, enjoyable thing in the universe, and you know nothing else will ultimately satisfy you.  You still struggle with sin, but you know that in the end you will have victory through Jesus Christ.  You know you’re a Christian when your purpose in life is to love, serve, and obey God, and you find joy and satisfaction in doing so.
